USA: United Laboratories Completes Audit For Gilbarco's Compliance Services

United Laboratories in the USA has completed a comprehensive audit for Gilbarco Veeder-Root’s Compliance Services business. The unit has been added to the scope of Gilbarco’s ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System.

This business unit supplies retail fuel marketers with a range of regulatory compliance services including permit and Notice of Violation (NOV) management, site inspection, and Statistical Inventory Reconciliation (SIR) among others.

ISO 9001 is accepted worldwide as the inclusive international standard that defines quality. The certification recognizes that the policies, practices and procedures of Gilbarco Veeder-Root ensure consistent quality in the services and manufactured products provided to customers. The certification process includes a stringent evaluation of quality management system development, documentation review, pre-audit, initial assessment, and completion of corrective actions to comply with the quality management standard.
