Reflecting the current economic climate in the US and elsewhere, there
has been a quiet start to registrations on both PEI and NACS in
Chicago.
This is expected to change tomorrow when the vast majority of visitors
enjoying Chicago and private functions being held around the
city, turn their attention to the main seminar programmes and visit to
the exhibiton floor.
From an international perspective most visitors arrive at the
weekend. It can be a very hectic schedule as long as you have
organised things in advance. This year NACS have organised the
international lounge once again which is an important meeting point for
international visitors. However because it is not organised with
PEI , many oil companies and petrol retailers from abroad appear
to miss the international opportunity to network here.
There are some good sessions being held here on Monday with Dan Munford
from Insight UK and Joesph Bona from CBX New York. Over at
PEI, the session most sought after is the PCI compliance seminar and is
expected to be a full house!
