Peru: Repsol’s Antonio Brufau Meets President Ollanta Humala

Repsol’s Executive Chairman, Antonio Brufau, has met with Peru’s new President Ollanta Humala in Lima. The men discussed development plans for the country and Repsol’s extensive interests in Peru.
Brufau underlined the company’s commitment to development and progression in the country, where it has operated for over 50 years. Repsol expects to invest between $2.5bn and $3bn over the next five years across exploration and production projects, improvements to the Pampilla refinery and other initiatives. Both sides stressed the need for gas infrastructure to bring fuel to the south of the country.
