The ORTEC Consulting Group and Paragon Decision Technology have announced a renewed partnership agreement that the companies say will take their collaboration to the next level. The new agreement allows ORTEC to use AIMMS technology for developing additional optimisation solutions for the oil, gas and chemicals sector along with the transport and logistics industries.
ORTEC AND Paragon have been in partnership since 2003, with ORTEC consultants using the AIMMS mathematical optimisation platform to evaluate business strategies and assisting in the implementation of AIMMS-based decision support solutions to make informed business decisions.
“By uniting business and applied mathematics in this way, we create a competitive advantage for companies wishing to make a great leap forward in enhancing their results. We have a valuable strategic partner in ORTEC - not only are they using our optimisation technology to help organizations to improve their operations, but they also provide customers with greater insight into potential business improvement opportunities and the impact of any improvements on their bottom line results,” noted Gijs Dullaert, CEO of Paragon Decision Technology.
"The extended partnership falls perfectly in line with ORTEC's strategic vision and ambitions. In the realm of consulting and implementation services, our aim is to deliver smart decision solutions that our clients can use to make faster and better risk-adjusted decisions in a hyper-competitive environment," said ORTEC CEO Lambert van der Bruggen (pictured).
