ANNOUNCMENT ON THEIR BEHALF: Philippines Country Manager Position
available with GILBARCO VEEDER-ROOT. This position will involve working
in close contact with the distributor, reseller, high power channels
and enterprise end users with aim of maximizing sales-out of channel
within the Philippines region. This position will focus on

Responsibilities include driving the growth of assigned territory via
relationships with key channel partners and end users and help solve
customer problems and participate in negotiations with key customers.
The individual will assist with the planning of territory sales
strategy. Responsibilities will also include building relationships
with sales and technical teams at key OEM’s, strategic partners, and
Tier I and II channel partners with the goal of detecting and engaging
GVR in large projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
To promote GVR products within the distributor and reseller channels,
offering end-to-end solutions from GVR.
Management of Channel Partners (Distributors, System Integrators,
Corporate Resellers, Resellers, High Power Partners, OEMs).
Production and management of tenders with resellers.
Proactively process and pursue leads, with follow through on all
qualified opportunities.
Proactive search for end user of projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent communication skills at all levels, both within GVR and with
customers.
Knowledge of local markets in Philippines and surrounding countries is
essential.
Candidates should have sound experience of working with end-users and/or
the channel in the past, preferably in Vendor, distribution or direct
sales environment.
Sales orientation with technical aptitude and background.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Ability to self manage and self motivate essential.
Ability to train and motivate sales people.
Provide information to product management of market trends.
Ability to work proactively on own initiative (strong self-motivation),
as well as in a team environment.
