FleetCor has announced that it has established a strategic partnership
with Moscow-based Petrol Plus Region (PPR), Russia’s leading
independent fuel card company.
PPR has operations in Russia, Poland and the Baltic countries (Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia). FleetCor will assume management and strategic development responsibility of the business.
Andrew Blazye, CEO of FleetCor Europe, said: "We are very excited to enter the fast-growing Russian market as well as expand our client base to Poland and the Baltic countries. PPR has done a terrific job in developing its business over the last five years. Now, by partnering with FleetCor, it gains a solid financial backing and additional global fuel card know-how.”
Alexei Iskrin, General Director of PPR commented on the partnership: “We are proud that FleetCor, the global leader in fuel cards, became interested in partnering with us and appreciated the hard work we put in to building our business. Our partnership will result in a much stronger company that will continue to deliver its high quality services and develop new products and offerings to our clients and merchants.”
"Our strategic partnership will build on the success we have had with CCS in Central and Eastern Europe," said Ron Clarke, FleetCor's Chairman and CEO. “We view this region as a very important marketplace for our business and are thrilled to have PPR as our partner there.”
