Czech Republic: OPW launches Technical University for AVANCE

OPW Fueling Components EMEA has announced the establishment of a Technical University dedicated to its AVANCE family of fuelling nozzles, breakaways and hoses. The facility will offer AVANCE training seminars designed to ensure AVANCE service technicians are more effective through hands-on training.
The company has already scheduled several two-day training seminars to be held at OPW’s European headquarters in Prague on October 16 to 17, October 18 to 19, November 20 to 21 and November 22 to 23. The AVANCE Technical University will also provide customers in the EMEA region with localised support through online instruction including repair videos, troubleshooting topics, service and maintenance manuals.
“Prior to its launch, the AVANCE nozzle was tested thoroughly and completed, on average, more than 1.5 million shutoff cycles before maintenance was needed,” remarked Carman Kobza, Managing Director of OPW EMEA. “However, as with any OPW product, the company developed this Technical University to provide complete technical support, which is a key component in the continued success of our channel partners.”
