USA: FJ Management Seals Maverik Acquisition

FJ Management has revealed that it will acquire a controlling interest in the Maverik convenience and fuel retail chain. In a statement, the company said that both firms would continue to operate independently with unchanged management teams.
Founded by Rueel Call in 1928, Maverik has nearly 250 stores across 10 states. It is one of the largest independent fuel marketers in the western US.
While financial details of the deal were not disclosed, the acquisition was reported to be worth "several hundred million" dollars by FJ Management CEO Crystal Call Maggelet
