Spain: Asian Investors Interested in Acquiring Repsol Shares |

Spanish oil giant Repsol has declined to comment on a report that several foreign investors are planning to purchase a share of up to 20% in the company.
The report, which was published in Expansion newspaper, said that investors from Hong Kong, Qatar, Algeria, Singapore and Saudi Arabia are hoping to buy Spanish building firm Sacyr's 9.7% stake, citing sources with knowledge of the matter. The investors are hoping to make up the rest of their investment through a capital hike, it said.
They are also said to have been in touch with Repsol's largest shareholder, La Caixa. The bank owns a 12.5% stake in Repsol.
