Bharat Petroleum has announced that it will soon be launching a new loyalty card to compliment its PetroBonus and SmartFleet offers already available to customers. The card, which the company says will allow customers to redeem points on a wide variety of purchases, will be available from March 2013. Bharat Petroleum has negotiated deals with a range of product providers including travel companies, airlines, banks and everyday consumer goods manufacturers in order to offer customers new incentives to shop with them.

Bharat Petroleum also revealed that it is researching the possibility of tying in its loyalty cards with a pre-paid system, whereby customers could pay for good using either points, credit or a combination of both.

The new card will initially be released in 10 cities across India.
