The convenience operator of the Dubai metro rail network, Zoom, has said that it will soon offer a rewards programme as a way of drawing in customers and encouraging the public to use the rail network. The retailer says that it will offer customers the opportunity to redeem points spent on purchases on other buys, and will be offering one winner the chance to ride the rail system for a year for free.

“The new rewards programme that has been launched at Zoom stores in the Dubai Metro network aims to achieve two objectives. The first is to encourage more people to use the Dubai metro and facilitate an environmentally friendly way of commuting across the length and breadth of the city,” said Burham Al Hashemi, managing director at ENOC Retail.

“The second objective is to highlight the convenient option that we provide to Dubai Metro commuters, offering them consumer products on the go.”

Zoom operates 41 stores in 39 stations across the network, in both paid and public areas. Other stores are located in ENOC and EPPCO fuel service stations.
