PetroClear, a maker of petroleum-dispensing filters, will be showcasing its line of filtration products at the upcoming PEI Convention & NACS Show. The event, which annually brings together a wide variety of professionals from the convenience and fuel retailing industry, will be held from October 7 to 10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The company will be highlighting its colour-coded fuel-dispenser filtration products. PetroClear filters have been colour-coded to assist customers with selecting the correct filter for every application. The interior of the PetroClear fuel-dispenser filters, meanwhile, is coated with an epoxy designed to provide superior performance and help eliminate the potential of pinhole leaks. The exterior colour finish is applied through a powder-coating process for a bright, durable finish that also offers environmentally friendly benefits. Powder coating means that there will be no over-spray when the filters are painted and no solvent-based volatile organic compounds (VOCs) will be released into the atmosphere during the coating process.
PetroClear’s parent company, Champion Laboratories, recently combined its filtration business with FRAM Group, a manufacturer and distributor of automotive and heavy-duty products. This new business group, called FRAM Filtration, employs more than 2,500 people and has manufacturing and distribution plants strategically located throughout the world.
