Malaysia continues path of preparing for fuel retail deregulation.
The Government authorities and the fuel retail industry in Malaysia are very much working hard to prepare for fuel deregulation. This is being done in a business like approach beyond the glare of national and local media.
PetrolWorld has had meetings with most of the local oil companies, suppliers and distributors. Some key group meetings took place last week and we are delighted to report that all sectors of the industry will now be participating in our June Conference. With the support of the local industry players, invitations are being sent to the appropriate Government Depts. PetrolWorld is expecting to have introductory meetings in May with these depts.
From an international perspective, the largest group of oversea delegates is coming from the Philippines with most of the large independent oil companies being represented.
To ensure that we have the right cross section of international and local numbers, we now have to place a ceiling on Delegate numbers from the various sectors of oil companies, suppliers, distributors, and others (Investment Companies, Consultants).
If you are an international oversea player in the market intending to participate in the Conference or supporting Expo, please ensure you are registered NOW and payment completed by the 1st week of May.
