Ukraine: Rompetrol Set for Major Retail Investment - Report

A report in the Kommersant-Ukraine newspaper has said that Rompetrol Group NV plans to invest $1bn over five years in a joint retail venture. The company will partner with Ukraine’s NAK Naftogaz Ukrainy to retail oil products in the country, the newspaper said, citing the head of the Rompetrol office in Ukraine, Andriy Kuzmenko.
According tot he report, Rompetrol and Naftogaz have completed a technical feasibility study of the joint venture. Rompetrol reportedly plans to supply up to 400,000 tonnes of oil products to the Ukraine in 2013.
