UK: Shell Agrees Card Acceptance Deal with Valero

Shell’s euroShell card will now be accepted at Texaco-branded UK sites following a card acceptance agreement between the international major and Valero energy. The deal means that the euroShell card will be accepted at Shell, Texaco, Total and Esso fuel service stations.
“We are committed to expanding our customer offer. This new collaboration with the Texaco network of service stations enables us to further improve our offer to euroShell customers and give them even more choice and availability when travelling throughout the UK,” remarked Shell Commercial Fleet’s UK Sales Manager Philip Williams.
Karen Goane, Valero’s Manager of Fuel Card Sales, also said that the deal would deliver more choice for consumers. “We are always looking to improve the support we give to our retailers and customers. This agreement with Shell helps achieve this by increasing customer choice while introducing new customers to Texaco service stations,” she said.
