UK: Petrogas Group Ends Talks With GNE

Petrol retailing sites operator GNE Group shares dropped before the
close after Petrogas Group said talks regarding a possible offer have
ended.
“The company confirms that while it has had recent talks with GNE
and its advisers regarding a possible offer for GNE those discussions
have been terminated,” it said in a short statement. “The company is
considering its position in respect of GNE.”
Last month, GNE said it was in exclusive talks that could lead to an
offer for the group following initial confirmation of takeover
discussions the month before.
