At a gala ceremony held in London, the Energy Institute (EI) presented
this year’s recipients with its annual EI Awards, acknowledging the
very best achievements within the energy industry.
Sarah Beacock FEI, Professional Affairs Director, says, ‘It’s
extremely encouraging to see the wealth of expertise showcased at the
EI’s annual awards ceremony. The EI Awards celebrate the industry’s
ongoing commitment of its companies and especially its people towards
delivering sustainable energy solutions that meet the highest standards
of safety, technical innovation and corporate social responsibility.
The range and diversity of both entrants and winners was again a very
promising sign that difficult economic times will not stifle
advancement and creativity in this industry.’
