Switzerland: Petroplus Offers Petit Couronne for Sale, Evaluating Antwerp and Cressier

Petroplus has announced that it will initiate a sales process for its Petit Couronne refinery following consultation with labour representatives, while also evaluating operations at its Antwerp and Cressier facilities. The refiner, which is in ongoing negotiations with lenders to seek a restoration of its revolving credit facility, said all options would be considered for all three sites.
in a statement, Petroplus also confirmed the safe shutdown of its Cressier refinery, adding that labour actions at Petit Couronne and Antwerp are "restricting the lifting of products". Petroplus, an independent refiner and wholesaler, currently owns five refineries in the UK, Belgium, France, Germany and Switzerland.
