MOL Slovenia has completed its takeover of 19 fuel service stations previously owned by TUS Holding. The transaction, which will be followed by rebranding in the coming months, nearly doubles MOL’s Slovenian network, bringing the total number of fuel service stations to 37.
MOL, announcing the completion of the deal, revealed that further stations are under construction. “In Slovenia our intention is to achieve at least 10% fuel retail market share in the forthcoming few years. We can promise premium quality fuel, great services and products for our customers in Slovenia who can also enjoy the benefits of the MOL Group’s retail network including 1 600 filling stations in 11 countries,” said MOL Slovenia CEO Valerija Glavač. László Piry, Senior Vice President, MOL Group Retail added that the acquisition is “in line with our overall strategy aiming to increase MOL Group’s retail network in Central Eastern Europe”.
