“This is a significant achievement for our Company” said Patrick Berthon, CEO & President of Tokheim Group S.A.S., “we remain strategically focused on the Systems and Payment segment of the Retail Petroleum Business and this award confirms and further validates Tokheim as an innovative and technology driven Company, well positioned to provide Systems and Payment solutions and associated services by market as required by the Customer. We are completely committed to the success of this project and now look forward to working closely with the Shell Global Site Systems Team to achieve this”.

David Moss, General Manager of Site Systems at Shell said “Shell are pleased to announce that Tokheim have been awarded a contract to provide Site Systems software as part of Shell’s Global Site Systems Programme. The programme will be rolled out over the next five years and will benefit a significant proportion of Shell’s Retail Estate. This contract was awarded following a rigorous selection process by Shell that has been running over the past nine months. Tokheim will start to work with Shell from Jan ’09 and we look forward to them being an integral part of the delivery team over the life of the programme.”

Kurt Dillen, General Manager of the Tokheim Systems & Electronic Business Unit said “we would like to thank Shell for the award of this business and for the confidence shown in the Tokheim product and scalable ‘solutions’ strategy throughout what has indeed been a rigorous selection process. We now look forward to working together to deliver the programme in line with the defined objectives”.
