Serbia: NIS to Invest €11.5m in Service Stations

Executive director of Nis Petrol, a branch of the Serbian Oil Monopoly
NIS, announced that EUR 11.5mn will be invested into building 15 new
petrol stations throughout Serbia in 2008. Investment in petrolwum downstream over teh coming period by NIS will top €110m.
Another € 8.8m will
be spent for reconstructing the existing stations while €11m will
be used for conducting necessary ecological projects.
In
the course of the next two years, NIS Petrol plans to construct another
22 petrol stations and continue the reparation of the existing objects.
Apart from expansion of the petrol-station network, in this year the
national oil company plans to invest EUR 62.5mn into refinery
production and another EUR 35mn into ecological projects in Pancevo and
Novi Sad refineries.
