Russia: TNK-PB Sales Up 25%, Says Official

TNK-BP is on course to increase its overall retail sales for 2011 by 25%, according to Vice President for Marketing Alexander Nesterov. Speaking at a press conference in Moscow, Nestorov said that fuel sales also rose for the year to 3.6m metric tons, up 16%.
Nestorov said that the
retail operation of TNK-BP was its most profitable business. Earnings
before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation for the unit is
expected to be up 13% for 2011 to roughly $600m. TNK-BP opened 36 fuel
service stations over the year, growing its retail network to 774 sites.
