The Russian Prosecutor General's Office has launched an inspection of aviation fuel handling dispensers, suppliers and makers of aviation fuel to assess their price-forming methods.
"In response to allegations that aviation fuel prices have been artificially inflated, prosecutors in Russian Federation and transport sector have been ordered to arrange inspections.”
Prosecutor General's Office spokeswoman Marina Gridneva told Interfax of Russia this “would involve specialists of territorial branches of the Russian Federal Anti-Monopoly Service to assess the compliance of fuel dispensers, suppliers and producers of aviation fuel with anti-monopoly Legislation.”
