Gazpromneft officially launched its new brand look service station in Omsk.
Opened officially on Friday last, 4th September, the flagship
Gazprom service station is situated by the company’s Omsk refinery.
The developer of the new brand, MULDBERRY, had an aim to combine the
principles of stability, immensity, leadership, high reputation and
trust, symbolized by Gazprom’s brand, and at the same time to present
the Gazprom Neft petrol retail business as friendly and open in a
positive manner.
At a Moscow press conference, Alexander Dybal, deputy general director
for communications said the company expects it will take until 2011 to
complete the rebranding. In all, 1,103 service stations selling
fuel under five different brand names in 17 regions in Russia are
involved. Gazprom Neft plans to rebrand 330 stations in 2009, 323 in
2010 and 450 stations in 2011. At the same time, Dybal thinks,
that these figures may be increased because the company is in process
of buying new service station locations.
Trial service stations had been rebranded in the development process in
Moscow and St. Petersburg. In both areas, sales grew 15 to 20 percent.
“The strategic aim of the company is to increase the service station
network number up to 4,000 by the end of 2010”, Dybal said.
