A fire occurred at a petrol station in the city centre of Deva, caused
by a short-circuit of the electrics of the luminescent board mounted on
the roof.
The short-circuit was caused by a power outage that affected
the entire neighbourhood. The firemen acted to eliminate any
possibility that the fire might reach any of the filling pumps.
The
intervention was difficult because the fire was burning exactly above a
fuel pump that was only three-four metres away. The petrol station was
sealed to prevent explosion.
