Genuine Fuel Recovery Makes VS Refiner A Winner

The VS Refiner system recovers instantly re-saleable petrol/gasoline and returns it to the storage tanks via a meter during tanker deliveries. The VS Refiner system  represents a huge reduction in potential capital costs to bring a network into environmental compliance.

The unique system recovers the vapours which are continually evaporating from fuel stored in tanks at  service stations and converts them back into petrol which is then returned to the storage tanks. This process can save up to 0.25 % in potentially lost fuel and profits.
 
This becomes a very significant amount when you look at annual fuel deliveries. Given current European fuel prices this can be worth between  €12700 (£10,000) for a delivery of 4m litres and €38000 (£30,000) a year for an annual delivery of 12m litres – and that’s straight back onto the bottom line.
 
  VS Refiner is now being adopted in the  UK and European networks. The company is currently in detailed discussions with 2 major chains, one in France and one in the UK . The UK chain  stands to save £3.2 million a year ( at current petrol prices ) by adopting the system.

Outside of Europe, test sites and negotiations are taking place in Asia and the Middle East. Vapasava’s Managing Director, says:  “We have been quite overwhelmed by the level of interest shown. We have not formally launched the product yet word seems to have gone around pretty fast. I suspect it is simply a question of the right product becoming available at the right time”
