PKN
Orlen faces a consumer watchdog probe into its pricing
that could lead to a fine of up to 10 percent of annual sales,
the UOKiK watchdog said.
"The probe was started after fuel market analysis conducted
by the UOKiK. The proceedings will last no longer than five
months," UOKiK said in the statement.
PKN denied allegations it was imposing prices on its
independently run petrol stations.
Last year's PKN revenues reached 64 billion zlotys ($31.5
billion).
The probe, which involves two PKN petrol stations, will be
the fourth into the company currently being conducted by the
regulator.
