The company explained that he will be responsible for all aspects of Statoil Fuel & Retail's innovation performance, from framework development to driving and supporting a culture of innovation within the company.
The Company has also recruited Sverre Rosén, Chief Information Officer at Storebrand, to serve as Executive Vice President of HR & Staff from March 1. The current Executive Vice President of HR & Staff, Jan Dahm-Simonsen, is rejoining Statoil ASA.
"Our people are one of our greatest assets. We value the contributions made and the commitment shown by each and every one of them," said Jacob Schram, CEO (pictured). "At such a time, it is not unusual for new members to join a team and for others to pursue new challenges."
Schram welcomed the new additions to the management team warmly. “Thomas [Støkken’s] extensive experience in business development, combined with his background from B2B sales and operations make him an ideal candidate for this role," he remarked. "Sverre's particular expertise in IT and portfolio management further strengthens our corporate services and the role of EVP HR & Staff. We are pleased to welcome Sverre to our corporate executive team," added Schram.
