New TNK-BP to be Announced by Middle of December

Tony Hayward said a new boss for BP's Russian joint venture, TNK-BP,
would be announced in the next month, easing fears the venture may be
leaderless after the current incumbent steps down later this month.
Tony Hayward told reporters that the new TNK-BP CEO, to replace Bob Dudley, would be announced in the coming weeks but did not give details of potential candidates. Hayward also said BP was not suffering from the current global financial crisis.
"It's having no impact on BP's operations. We have a very healthy balance sheet," he said.
