KSS has announced the availability of a new white paper for petroleum retailers.
The white paper, titled 'Adapt Fuels Pricing to Changing Customer
Behaviour', tackles the reduced demand for fuel experienced by many
fuels retailers, giving retailers a step-by-step guide on using pricing
to maximise site revenue.
High fuel prices, restricted supply and the credit crunch have
contributed to a gradual change in consumer purchasing habits. The
overall impact is a significant decrease in their demand for fuels as
customers find ways to travel less frequently. The effects are being
felt in both fuel sales and in the store, where sales are falling as
customers visit less often. This has impacted fuels retailers in terms
of fuel volume and revenue targets and in lower sales in store.
Mark Hawtin, VP business development at KSS, commented, 'KSS has a
wealth of specialist fuels pricing experience spanning over fifteen
years. We hope our new white paper helps fuels retailers to address the
challenges of recent changes in customer behaviour.'
