Oil products trader Neste Latvija posted LVL 10.63 million in
consolidated losses in 2008, according to the Register of Enterprises'
Lursoft data.
In 2007, the concern earned a profit of LVL 3.46 million, writes
LETA. Consolidated turnover of Neste Latvija last year reached
LVL 174.18 million, dropping 14.7% on the results of 2007, when the
concern turned over LVL 204.28 million. Losses of the parent
company of Neste Latvija in 2008 totaled LVL 10.93 million, whilst in
2007 it achieved LVL 3.62 million profit. Last year the concern's
leading company posted LVL 173 million turnover, which is 14.7% less
than in 2007, when the turnover figure reached LVL 202.92 million.
As reported, Neste invested LVL 2.5 million in its operations in Latvia
last year. In 2008, Neste Latvija opened two new fuel stations in
Latvia – one in Aluksne (northeastern Latvia) and one in Jelgava
(central Latvia). At the moment, the company operates a network
of 50 service stations in Latvia.
