Gilbarco Autotank in Europe has announced Kai Andersen as the new Managing Director for all Nordic and Baltic regions.
Mr. Andersen has built his career within the retail fuelling
industry having worked in several positions for Schlumberger and
Tokheim. He has successfully run his own company and more recently
became the General Manager of Norway for Autotank. During 2009, his
responsibility was increased to include the service businesses in all
the Nordic areas. He has in depth understanding of the industry and
customers and has a proven track record of delivering profitable growth.
Twelve months on from GVR’s acquisition of Gilbarco Autotank
, the new partnership has performed exceptionally well and the company
is positioned to capitalise on growth opportunities and increase in
profitability. One of Mr Andersen’s key objectives will be to
facilitate the ongoing alignment of the structures and processes of the
company.
In conjunction with this development and as part of GVR’s exciting
times for growth and providing customers with more focused services,
Gilbarco Autotank’s structure will be changed to a functional structure
covering Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Finland and the Baltics will be
combined into one region. This will ensure customer needs are
identified and served more effectively.
“I am very pleased with these structural changes said Mr.
Andersen, “delivering good service and quality products to our
customers are our number one priority and part of our objectives. Since
Gilbarco Autotank joined the Gilbarco Veeder-Root family, tremendous
progress has been made so far, and the transformation from a country
specific structure to a more functional structure will encourage the
team to broaden our resources effectively in each region in order to
continue to further improve our customer services and also, retain and
develop valuable relationships with our customers.”
