British Petroleum's Hungarian unit, BP Business Service Centre Kft.,
will receive €11.26m in government grant support for the expansion of
a service center opened in Budapest last November.
The BP service center, which currently employs 100 people, is
expected to increase its staff to approximately 1,000 over the next
four years. BP refining and marketing unit Finance Chief Richard
Hookway said in March 2009 that the company's Budapest service center
would be more than an ordinary call center, providing comprehensive
business and financial services to customers as well.
