France: WashTec's AquaX²- Filter System Wins Equip Auto 2011 Innovation Prize

WashTec's AquaX²- Filter System has won the Special Prize for Innovations at this year's Equip Auto Trade Show in Paris. The award was given by a selection jury of 80 specialised international journalists who deemed the product’s high water recovery quota and the low energy requirements to be “outstanding”.
The AquaX² re-processes up to 90 per cent of the water used by a gantry car wash system, using only a quarter of the electrical energy needed to operate its predecessor, the AquaX. The system can also function fully chemical-free.
The Washtec group, a leading manufacturer of car wash solutions, operates in over 60 countries, employing more than 1,600 people.
