France: Total Names Helle Kristoffersen as SVP

Total has announced the appointment of Helle Kristoffersen (pictured) as Senior Vice President for Strategy & Business Intelligence. Kristoffersen, a member of the Management Committee and Secretary of the Executive Committee of Total, assumes her role effective January 1, succeeding Jean-Jacques Mosconi (the company's new Senior Vice President for Refining & Petrochemicals in Europe).
Kristofferson has been with Total for a year, having joined as Deputy Vice President of Strategy & Business Intelligence in January 2011. Previously, she worked as a Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst at investment bank Lazard Frères, Special Advisor to the CFO at Bolloré, and Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions at Alcatel. She is a graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure, the Paris Graduate School of Economics, Statistics and Finance (ENSAE), and the Institute for Higher National Defence Studies (IHEDN).
