Double Sided OPT Launched by Gilbarco Veeder-Root

Gilbarco Veeder-Root has recently launched the industries first double sided, multi features EMV outdoor payment terminal (OPT), the FlexPay™ B2B.

The FlexPay™ B2B was developed using years of experience in the petrol retail and commercial fuels payment industry.  The FlexPay™ B2B provides the functionality of traditional CRIND payment terminals, with the added features of a stand alone OPT.

Fabrizio Tarlini, Marketing Director for Gilbarco Veeder-Root adds “Two sided payment terminals have only ever been available on the dispensers. The benefit is more transactions and a faster moving forecourt at the service station. The problem with CRIND payment terminals is they have limits. The new double sided FlexPay™ B2B delivers the same benefits, but can also receive additional forms of payment including bank notes”.

With an optimised footprint, the new FlexPay™ B2B can be situated on any service station and in any configuration or automation model. So it provides more options for service station designers and difficult sites.  Powered by Gilbarco Veeder-Root’s SPOT it also benefits from interactive colour screens to drive promotions and improved customer interface.
 
Sales of the FlexPay™ B2B have already commenced with new terminals being installed on manned and unmanned sites in Italy and Hungary, and the rest of Europe is following.
