Croatia: Artur Thernesz Named Executive Director for Refining and Marketing at INA

INA has appointed Artur Thernesz (pictured) as Executive Director for Refining and Marketing. He will take over the role, currently held by Peter Chmurciak, by January 1 2012.
Thernesz is an internationally respected chemical engineer and manager, with experience working as Managing Director at ExxonMobil Hungary, and as the executive in charge of retail planning for ESSO’s Central Europe cluster, covering Germany, Switzerland, Austria and other East-European countries. He joined the MOL organisation in 2005, and established the co-located Asset, Product and Renewables Development department in the Downstream division.
