Calor Gas Employ Alpeco Flow Meters

Calor Gas in England UK has recently placed an order for no less than 21 LPG road tankers with Lakeland Tankers and Protran Developments.  Alpeco Limitehas supplied the two manufactureres builders with MA7 2" Flow Meters to be incorporated into each of the 21 vehicles currently under construction.

David Brown, the Fleet Asset Manager at Calor Gas UK recalled. "Calor Gas have used Alpeco supplied flow meters for a number of years, starting with their MA5 units before moving on to the MA7 products.
For the past six years or so we have been using load cell technology exclusively. We are currently undertaking a major review of metering systems and while we decide on what we do long term we are presently using a mix of MA7 meters and load cells.
