BP Makes New Retail Appointment in Europe

UK-based oil major BP has named David Pitron as the new trading
director for its UK convenience retail division, effective January 26,
2009.
Mr Pitron has been with BP for around five years, while serving the
last three-and-a-half year as the company's convenience trading
director in Australia and New Zealand. He succeeds Andy Davis, who has
become the company's European trading director, according to BP
spokesperson.
Richard Harding, BP's UK convenience retail director as quoted by the
news source, said: "David brings a wealth of industry and BP experience
to the role which will be invaluable in driving forward the delivery of
our trading strategy in the UK."
