PE Dispenser Sump - High Security - Low Maintenance - Short Installation Time - Long Life Durability
PetroTite sumps from PetroTechnik are secondary containment devices which provide a liquid-tight containment area for the connection of fuel piping under dispensing equipment.
These custom one piece units are available in a range of sizes ensuring an accurate fit for over 50 dispenser models from all manufacturers.
Dispenser mounting plate
The mounting plate is one piece, non-corrosive and of steel construction for maximum strength. Dispenser mounting is via four (minimum) bolts secured in the plate. The heads of the J bolts also act as anchors in concrete.
Vacuum test
One piece design without bolt holes ensures no air leak paths, therefore allowing full vacuum testing of complete sump after seals and piping have been installed. The set may be repeated after dispenser removal. Please refer to information on the System Integrity Testing Unit from PetroTechnik.
Main Features:
• Rigid HDPE body
CAD engineered with FEA site condition simulation
• No bolts through the body
External anchoring longitudinal perforated ribs are used to integrate the internal shear valve mounting frame assembly
• Integrated unistrut and anchoring system
No bolts - No leaks
• High rain lip
Prevents surface water entry and enables vacuum testing with shear valves installed
• Lower fixing lug
Sump can be fixed in position during installation
• Mounting frame with conduit entry
Conduit can enter dispenser without penetrating sump wall
• Compatible with all UPP Electro-fusion and mechanical entry seals
Efficient installation
• 500mm (10") entry face
No need to adjust height of sump to accommodate fall back of pipe line
• Vacuum testable
Testable at installation and throughout site life
•Lifetime product
Lasts the lifetime of the site.
Leak-proof installation
The new System Integrity Testing Kit from PetroTechnik allows tightness testing of tank chambers and dispenser sumps to be carried out both during the installation of underground systems and at any time during its working life to ensure continuous peace of mind. Specific testing at critical points during the installation process ensures that all components are installed correctly and that the complete installation is leak-proof, negating the need for expensive re-work.
The System Integrity Testing Kit comprises:
A vacuum test unit which can be set to indicate the relationship between the on-site water table level and the level of the tank or dispenser sumps. A pressure test setting also allows for low pressure testing of pipe systems.
Testing safety connection tubes between the test unit and lid - supplied in sufficient lengths to allow the test unit to be placed outside zone 2 areas during testing.
Transparent test lids with close cell foam gaskets are available separately in a variety of sizes. These allow full visibility of areas being tested to observe gaskets, penetration seals, etc. for easy visual identification of leak points. All lids come supplied in a tough black carry bag.
A portable printer for recording of test results is also available and plugs easily into the fascia of the test unit (sold separately).
Built in pressure relief valve to avoid damage occurring.
