Automechanika - Otto Christ AG: Sirius - Setting the norms

A special drying concept with two blowing motors integrated in the frame construction of the GENIUS were developed for the SIRIUS. This unit standard includes two 5,5 kW blower motors, which supply the roof blower and both side blowers. 

Energy efficiency was considerably increased through this unique two motor machine concept - low operation costs guaranteed!

 At the same time, no sacrifices whatsoever on drying speed, drying quality or drying height were made.

The contour-following roof blower is complemented by two side blowers (drying height of 1.700 mm). Air distribution succeeds via two air canals integratd in the portal frame.

 This roll-over wash unit can perform between 300 and 1.200 washes per month with no problem - more capacity in fantastic times!



The optics and quality of the SIRIUS also set new benchmarks. The portal frame is completely galvanized and pulver coated. Important unit components are made from stainless steel and aluminum alloys.

 The front and the rear of the SIRIUS are completely covered with panelling in special plastic. In comparison to panelling made from sheet steel, this machine panelling is completely rust resistant! This machine can be attractively presented for the entire period of operation without risk of corrosion. 

In addition to washing and drying results, wheel wash results are also put in the foreground. The most modern wheel wash system with wheel wash brushes up to 21" are installed in the SIRIUS. 

The entire guidance of the wheel wash system and the side cylinders is designed in stainless steel and aluminum - high-quality for a long machine life! 

The side cylinder system, Optiflex, included in the SIRIUS basic model, ensures that all vehicle forms are washed thoroughly and carefully.

 SIRIUS also fulfils the future requirements for the VDA official seal. A passage width in the mirror area of 2.400 mm and an entry lane width of 2.050 mm are provided for all passage heights. 

For easy unit operation, all control components and the chemical wash agents can be easily accessed from the rear of the unit. SIRIUS can also be equipped with the gentle wash material SENSOFIL+. 

Further accessory equipment such as e.g. high-pressure- (85 bar) or middle-pressure pre-wash (16 bar), active foam pre-wash, foam wax sealing, travelling tracks in stainless steel, under-chassis wash, service device with card or pin code or the novel LED positioning light can be additionally selected. Machine optics can also be individually adapted. A broad array of colours can be selected for the plastic panelling and wash material. For over 20 years now Christ AG supports customers in implementing their company logos and advertising messages through use of special stickers.


The highly modern machine control of the newest generation also enables an internet support connection to the Christ remote maintenance system "C-IS".
 This is especially recommendable for operators of several units, wash chains and corporate groups. This system enables the entire machine management to be handled online.
