 Cleaning and caring for commercial vehicles
Kärcher has extended its range of cleaning agents for commercial vehicles. The company now supplies a comprehensive range of products for everything from pre-treatment to main wash to finishing of construction site and freight vehicles and coaches.
One new addition to the range is RM 804 intensive cleaner, an acid
detergent that is used to pre-treat mineral soiling such as plaster,
lime, mortar and concrete. Grease, soot, oil, tar, insect residues and
grey film are loosened using RM 805, an alkaline truck and tarpaulin
cleaner. These two intensive cleaners have been designed for use with
the new Kärcher TB commercial vehicle wash.
For the main wash, RM 811 ASF shampoo is used. It cleans the vehicle
surface very gently, partly because it helps the brushes to glide more
easily and prevents them from getting dirty again. To conserve the
paintwork and maintain its gloss, Kärcher’s range of products includes
RM 821 spray-on wax.
RM 833 “liquid leather” noticeably improves the cleaning of coaches and
vehicles with large expanses of window. Until now, it has been necessary
to go over them again by hand with a wiper blade to prevent water
stains on the glass. After cleaning with RM 833, depending on the
weather, they take five to fifteen minutes to dry because the product
runs off the vehicle surface and windows in a thin film.
Kärcher has been developing cleaning agents for more than 30 years.
Since 2009, the company has produced them itself at its Sulzdorf
facility in the Upper Bühlertal in southwest Germany. A key component of
Kärcher’s total cleaning solution for customers, they are tailored to
the specific machines and types of dirt to be removed. Many have
separation-friendly character¬istics (ASF) patented by Kärcher and
support the mode of action of light liquid separators.
