Wash and dry two-by-two
Kärcher has added a conveyor-type wash to its CB Line of gantry washes. The CB Takt has separate washing and drying zones, so it can service two vehicles simultaneously.
This increases throughput by up to 30% over conventional
gantry washes. With a space requirement of just 18 metres, the system is
also a low-cost alternative to short tunnel washes.
In terms of technology, the machine is based on the CB Flex model that
can be fitted out very flexibly from an extensive range of equipment. A
modern processor and a powerful water and high pressure distributor
permit any required combination from numerous options, including high
pressure pre-wash, rim clean, and long-term conservation using the care
product Kärcher Polish Plus.
As in all Kärcher CB Line systems, hard-wearing drives, bearings and
guides ensure long service life and cut maintenance work to a minimum.
All steel parts are galvanised and powder-coated for protection. Doors,
claddings and guide rails, components that constantly come into contact
with water and cleaning agent, are made of especially high-grade plastic
or stainless steel. The drive and hoist motors are frequency-steered to
ensure gentle washing, and the brushes are electronically controlled.
This enables them to follow vehicle contours precisely and to maintain
the best possible brush contact pressure across the entire service.
