In the spirit of Gilbarco Veeder-Root's commitment to continuous
improvement, the SK700-II AdBlue™ dispenser has been updated to deal
with the challenges related to the distribution of the AdBlue™ product.
With European directives around diesel emissions becoming more
stringent, the demand for AdBlue™ dispensing on the service station is
increasing. The SK700-II AdBlue™ solution meets the rigorous demands of
AdBlue™ fuelling.
“AdBlue™ fuelling is very tough on dispensers. Due to the corrosive
nature of the fuel and the sensitivity to temperatures we have had to
undertake a number of unique design features to protect the operator’s
asset” Says Eric Denivelle, SSE Marketing Director for Gilbarco
Veeder-Root.
The SK700-II AdBlue™ incorporates a stainless steel Coriolis meter.
Measuring mass rather than volume, the Coriolis meter is the most
advanced measurement in the petroleum industry. Denivelle adds,
“Traditional piston meters tend to get blocked by crystals being formed
in the dispensing system when AdBlue™ comes into contact with oxygen.
The extremely accurate Coriolis meter has no moving parts, meaning that
any crystals would simply pass through it. It goes without saying that
Gilbarco Veeder-Root’s Coriolis meter has a major impact on the low
maintenance costs and the uptime of the dispenser.”
The SK700-II AdBlue™ also incorporates a fail safe nozzle door system
is critical in the fuelling of AdBlue™. This mechanism ensures the
nozzle is returned correctly and protected from exposure to the
elements. The SK700-II AdBlue™ is now available throughout Europe.
