Philippine Seven Corporation (PSC), the exclusive licensee for 7-Eleven in the Philippines, has celebrated its growing partnerships and top-performing franchisees at its 7th annual Franchise Appreciation Day. The event, held at the World Trade Centre, was themed around the slogan “Ready, Get Set, Grow”, as Business Development Manager Francis Medina expressed gratitude to its entire franchise community.
PSC President Jose Victor Paterno, addressing the event, reported on continued growth and outlined what he called an exciting 2012 for the company. Peterno revealed that PSC plans a store renovation for all 7-Eleven outlets nationwide, including the use of energy-efficient LED lighting and air-conditioning inverters, which he said would come “at no extra cost for franchisees.”
“We want to create a better ambiance and achieve a unified, updated look for all c-stores. Aside from the look, we will also aim for a cleaner, clutter-free format to provide more display space for our products,” Paterno explained. “All these slated improvements are well-planned as we step up the game to keep up with the changing markets.”
Also speaking at the event was multiple franchisee Ronald Christian Uy one of several new officers named to PSC’s Franchise Advisory Council (FAC). Uy was joined in office by Waldo Abad Santos, Joy Valerie Tomas, ranklin Cas, Hellen Patio and Jason Briones. FAC Co-Chairman Waldo Abad Santos was elected to a second term.
The Franchise Performance Awards were also presented to recognise stores who delivered on customer service, product quality and store image, along with the Franchise Achievers Awards, which mark strong sales, income, merchandise and other key variables.
