Mac's convenience Stores has signed a new virtual private advertising network services deal with iSIGN Media Solutions, a provider of mobile interactive advertising solutions. The five-year agreement, with an option for another five years, also gives Mac's owner Couche-Tard the option to add 124 Circle K stores in eastern Canada to the network.
iSIGN Media uses bluetooth, mobile, wifi and location-aware technology to deliver rich media messages to consumers. The company's patent pending advertising platform allows it to gather detailed business intelligence and real-time metrics, letting advertisers measure their efforts and gain an insight into consumer behaviour.
The deal follows successful testing of the system, iSIGN CEO Alex Romanov revealed. "With the agreement now signed, we can fully expedite the launch of iSIGN's software and antennas throughout the Mac's chain and expand upon our metrics-gathering trials and testing with additional equipment," he noted. "The signing of this agreement took longer than anticipated due to the addition of the Circle K stores in eastern Canada; however, we feel that the inclusion of those 124 stores more than outweighs the additional time it took to reach an agreement."
