Philippines: Oil Company Retail Networks Assist Flood Relief

Petron Shell and Total petorl reail networks have been made available
to assist the current flood relief efforts after typhoon hit the
Philippines.
Petron Corporation, in a statement, said they have opened their
service station network to receive cash and relief goods in Metro
Manila, as well as in major cities and towns in Luzon, including
Palawan, Mindoro, Masbate, Marinduque, and Catanduanes. "We are calling
on our concerned countrymen to go Petron stations to drop-off cash and
relief items such as old clothes, food, water and so on" the Petron
statement said. "We have mobilized our employees to prepare relief
goods that will be distributed to typhoon victims. We have provided
Gasulites (LPG-powered lights) for areas without electricity," the
Petron statement added.
Pilipinas Shell Petroleum also said Sunday their retail stations in
Metro Manila are ready to accept donations. Meanwhile, Total
Philippines said they have made available select Total stations as
drop-off points for donations. These Total stations are: Total Libis
QC, Total EDSA Mandaluyong, Total EDSA Balintawak, Total Sucat, Total
San Fernando, Total NLT expressway, Total San Miguel Bulacan, Total
Cordon Isabela.
