The international PetrolWorld APAC Business Forum, which targets key
executives from fuel retail and marketing, is taking place in Cebu this
week.
From an international perspective, the Philippines represents an
unique market in transition. The process of deregulation in the
downstream and fuel distribution business continues. The smaller
independent oil companies have gone through some painful developments
in recent times. However it is clear that the role of the
independent oil companies will continue to grow over the coming
years.
David Egan, President of PetrolWorld states “Our Forum programme in
Asia has focused on two key markets going through key changes this
year, namely Philippines and India. We are truly delighted to be here
in Cebu and I have no doubt, the networking event is one of the
key international fuel retail events taking place this year in Asia.”
The programme includes key one to one business meeting programme and
seminars over two and half days. Key presentations include Petron
Corporation, India Oil Corporation, Retail Decisions and Total
Philippines.
Participation at the PetrolWorld Forum will include Key Philippine fuel
retailers Petron Corp., Total Philippines, Seaoil, Phoenix, Flying V,
Unioil, Eastern Petroleum, Asian Fuels, Metro Oil, Filpride and Pryce
Gases. International oil companies include Shell Global, the key
India state oil company, India Oil Corporation, Idemitsu Kosan
