Petrol stations in Johor Bahru have seen a 20 per cent drop in business
from Singaporean motorists since the petrol price increase in Malaysia
This is a big cause for worry because most of their customers are
Singaporeans.
Petrol in Malaysia now costs 2.7 ringgit per litre, or S$1.15 dollars,
which is still cheaper compared to prices in Singapore.
So some motorists believe it's worth their while to top up in
Johor.
Given the rise in petrol prices in Malaysia, some motorists now wonder
if the three-quarter tank rule will be scrapped.
