Chevron Malaysia Ltd, owner and opeator of the Caltex network of
petrol stations in Malaysia, is aiming to have 450 Caltex outlets next
year from more than 420 currently.
“We
are always looking for opportunities to expand our network here,” its
Malaysia and Cambodia manager for policy, government and public
affairs, Mokhtar Ali Ismail, told a press conference. He said the cost
to set up one station ranged from RM1mil to RM5mil, depending on the
location and size.
Chevron has launched consumer promotion with contest which
started in middle of the month and will continue until March 31, 2009
.The competition is offering lucky Caltex customers holiday experiences
in five destinations – Africa, Italy, Japan, New Zealand and Egypt.
Customers with a minimum of RM50 purchase at Caltex will be able to
send in one entry and stand the chance to win one of the five holiday
destinations for two.
Mokhtar said the contest was expected to attract more customers and increase sales.
